Mat Bao has officially become a Vietnam code high class domain registering company.

In the digital era, domain means brand name, and is an important asset of a company. In July 2005, Mat Bao officially became a Registrar – a domain registering company belonging to Vietnam domain management center, contributing to protect the brand names of local and international companies.
Vietnamese domains (characterized by the internet socialization in Vietnam’s community) reflect less the information vitality, and website services are not plentiful enough, internet using level is also very restricted. In many countries in the world, a user can own 2 or 3 or more domains. In developed countries, each 100 people, there are 4 or 8 register domains ccTLD (using the tag of country names, e.g. .vn for Vietnam; 2 for co-operating and economic developing countries. Meanwhile, the number in Vietnam is so modest, taking up just 0, 00015 (according to the statistics from Vietnam Internet Center). Approaching and getting to know about domain .vn is still restricted, simply because our businesses do not have sufficient information, and fail to identify the long-term importance of the digital brand name. Shortly after receiving a decision to become a registrar, Mat Bao introduced a program “Digital brand name protection” from August 2005 until October 2005 with many special promotions for businesses like:
Mat Bao also co-operated with Thuong Hieu Viet network (Vietnam Brand name) belonging to the Intellectual Property Association to organize a show to introduce the digital brand names to the businesses in the network in the middle of September 2005.
